Jenn has done it all, often all in the same week, and with an incredibly high watermark. She wore a number of hats during her time at Microverse. She's so skilled in so many areas, we found many different ways to organize her talents into our fast-paced start-up business context. She was a team manager, and Operations Manager, and a Senior Career Coach. You name it, she's done it. She was my manager, my co-manager, and my direct report during our time together.

Jenn is one of the best career coaches I have ever seen. Full stop. Her dedication, approach, honesty, resourcing, adaptability you name it. She's a star. During her time at Microverse, she consistently had one of the highest coaching loads, but this never stopped her from connecting deeply with her clients. At our global remote tech BootCamp, she developed an ear for languages and accents, and would occasionally make a client's day by greeting them in Yoruban, for instance. Jenn was a tireless advocate for our clients, their needs, and how we can better service them. She was our true north in this way. A tireless reminder of what we owe the students in our mission-based school.

Additionally, she is highly creative and strategic. Jenn is to this day, my favorite thought partner of all time. No matter how vague, how granular, or how difficult, she comes to the table with an open mind and a willingness to experiment in the space. Our program is infinitely better for her clarity, experimentation, and drive.

Everyone who meets Jenn is struck by her incredible altruism. She is never too busy for anyone. Always makes time to help or to listen. She is encouraging, honest, helpful, and caring. This is one of the many traits that make her a natural leader and a natural career coach. She is a beacon of professionalism, and really sets the tone for any team she is on.

Jenn is remarkable for how much she is willing to take on new and exciting challenges. During our time together at Microverse, I saw her complete a very demanding certificate program, start a consultancy speaking on Neurodivergence in the workplace, take a DEIB course, and learn to code in SQL. She's not afraid to leave her comfort zone or to encourage others to do the same.

When Jenn told me she accepted a new position building out a career coaching department from the ground up, I couldn't even be sad for my loss. All I could do was smile, to think of how well she will meet the demands of that position to create something sustainable that will serve countless job searchers.
