Greetings! đź‘‹ I'm Jenn.Â
If you combine the personalities of Detective Rosa Diaz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Ted Lasso, you get me: No B.S. and fully committed to helping people succeed. And to be honest, I find that dichotomy comedically accurate!Â
Let's talk more about what I do:
I raise my hand to volunteer when everyone else has to be "voluntold."
I proactively identify needs and anticipate obstacles before they become problems.
I adapt to and embrace change, and I enjoy making sense of the complex!Â
Is it tricky, and does it require strategy without getting lost in the weeds? Sign me up!
So how did I get here? 🤔
I've worn many hats across a range of industries and team sizes, from Fortune 100 companies to mission-driven startups (including one backed by Y Combinator). I'm entrepreneurial and scrappy, building businesses both small and large in local and global contexts. I know how to drive projects forward when there's no guide to follow and when it's time to burn the old playbook.
My career path includes experience in communications, coaching, and leadership across teams, programs, projects, and operations. This gift of career diversity helped me develop a unique toolkit of skills to share with people and teams who need it. But most importantly, I've proven that success comes from focusing on the needs and experiences of people (customers, users, partners, or employees), whether launching new programs, refining operations, or empowering multinational teams.
My insatiable curiosity drives me to seek new challenges and growth. I'm often learning something or MacGuyver'ing a new method to get shit done, with plans to keep improving. And while I consider myself smart, I want to be surrounded by people I can learn from.
If you are looking for a leader who can lead up, down, and across the organization—regardless of job title—you have found the right person! I thrive in ambiguous situations where others might hesitate, and I believe the best solutions come from listening to the people closest to the work. Job titles don't matter to me because they have never captured the full extent of where my fingerprints can be found.
I care about doing meaningful work. Whether it's operations, programs, or team leadership, I go where organizations need someone to make things work better. Call it what you want, but I'll call it done.
Interested? Let's talk.
